The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is a nonprofit shelter located in Tampa, Florida, about 2 miles southeast of the city, with a guiding vision of "leading the way because every life counts." Adoptions are handled first-come, first-served through a designated adoption line at shelter hours (Monday–Sunday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, last adoption at 4:30 PM), with fees varying by animal type and age (e.g., puppies $250, adult dogs $130, senior dogs $50; kittens $125, adult cats $50, senior cats $25).
