Adoption Process

All adoptions are subject to a contract, and our fees may vary depending on the specific circumstances. We conduct home inspections prior to the adoption and provide follow-up support to adopters as needed after the adoption is finalized.

Underdogs Rock! Rescue in PORTLAND, OR

We are a small, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to rescuing dogs from overcrowded shelters in Southern California, Alabama, and Hawaii. We provide foster care for these dogs until they are healthy and ready to be adopted into their forever homes. We collaborate closely with rescue groups in Southern California to save dogs that are facing imminent euthanasia in high-kill shelters. By placing the dogs in foster homes, we gain valuable insights into their personalities and needs. This intimate understanding allows us to effectively match each dog with the most suitable family, ensuring a successful and harmonious adoption.
