About this shelter
Appalachian Pug Rescue, Inc. in Lock Haven, PA
“For the Love of Pugs” was established with a straightforward yet significant mission. We are committed to providing a safe alternative to shelters for pugs in need by utilizing loving foster homes. Our organization ensures that these dogs receive necessary medical care and support on their journey to finding a permanent, adoptive home. We also focus on educating both current and prospective pug owners about the breed's unique needs and health concerns. Additionally, we collaborate with other local and pug-specific rescues to facilitate the transport, placement, and care of pugs within our service area.
