Adoption Process

Potential adopters are required to complete an application. After a screening process, we will reach out to the applicant. If approved, the applicant will then visit the shelter. Please note that adoption fees vary according to the age of the cat.

Kiski Valley Cat & Kitten Rescue was founded in 2000 and is committed to preventing cruelty and neglect towards cats. We provide shelter for homeless cats until we can find them permanent homes. We ensure that all cats receive necessary veterinary care, including spaying, neutering, and vaccinations for Distemper and Rabies. Euthanasia is only considered in cases where a cat is gravely ill and it is required to prevent or alleviate suffering. Our shelter operates entirely through the efforts of volunteers and the support of donations. Our dedication stems from our love for cats and our desire to help them as much as possible.
