Adoption Process
The adoption fee is $100. This fee covers a variety of services, including testing for leukemia at any age and testing for feline AIDS for cats over 13 weeks. It also includes the first distemper vaccine, a second distemper vaccine if the cat remains in our care long enough, a rabies vaccine for cats over 12 weeks, treatment for fleas, worms, and ear mites, nail trimming, and spaying or neutering.

The mission of Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter is to provide shelter, care, and medical treatment for sick, injured, abused, homeless, and disabled domestic animals. The shelter is committed to being a no-kill facility, ensuring that no domestic animal is turned away as long as space is available. We collaborate with local veterinarians to provide necessary medical treatment and vaccinations for the animals in our care. We also mandate spaying and neutering services to reduce the spread of serious diseases and manage the population of unwanted animals. Additionally, we are partnering with local municipalities to address the growing stray cat population in York County. Our aim is to enhance the human-animal bond through educational initiatives and referral services. We actively engage with various organizations and clubs throughout the county to raise awareness about our mission.
