Adoption Process

All applicants must complete an application and undergo a home visit prior to receiving approval to adopt. Once approved, they will wait to find a dog that fits their family's needs. Applicants are required to sign a pre-adoptive agreement and keep the matched dog for a three-week pre-adoptive period. If this period goes well, they will then sign an adoption agreement to finalize the adoption. Adoption fees vary based on the dog's age and whether it has been altered. We also require that all dogs be altered if they are not already, and we mandate obedience training for all adopted pets.
