Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, applicants must be at least 18 years old. If there are other dogs in the home, they must be up-to-date on all vaccinations and must be spayed or neutered. A fenced yard is preferred but not mandatory. The adoption fees are as follows: $150 for puppies, $100 for adult dogs, and $250 for purebred dogs.

I'm Your Huckleberry Rescue is a nonprofit organization, classified as a 501(c)(3), based primarily in McDonald and Newton counties in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. We operate as a foster-based dog rescue. As a founding member, I have served on the Board of Directors since the organization's inception and manage all aspects of social media and media design. Having been disabled for the past ten years, I am motivated to help dogs because my own pets have supported me through various challenges.
