Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, an application must be completed and submitted. We will review the application and contact veterinary references. If the references are satisfactory, we will arrange a meeting and a home visit. If everything goes well, the pet can be adopted with a two-week trial period. Adoption becomes final once the adoption fee is paid and the two-week trial is successful. The average adoption fee is $75 for cats and $225 for dogs. It is important that current pets are spayed or neutered and have up-to-date vaccinations. Additionally, some pets may require a fenced yard, while others do not; this requirement varies depending on the specific pet.
