Adoption Process
The adoption process includes a phone interview, completion of an application, verification of references and veterinary care, a meeting with the dog, introducing the dog to your home, and finalizing the adoption.

Harter's Hospice Rescue in Arnold, MO
We operate a senior dog rescue dedicated to assisting elderly, sick, and dying dogs. Our primary mission is to provide comprehensive medical care to help these dogs recover and find loving homes. Additionally, we offer hospice care for terminally ill dogs that have been abandoned by their families. Our team, which includes myself, veterinarians, and foster families, collaborates to ensure that each dog receives appropriate care, whether through holistic approaches, hospice support, or traditional medical treatment. When we have the capacity and there are no senior dogs in need, we also accept dogs of any age into our rescue.
