Adoption Process
The adoption fee for each dog ranges from $50 to $250. The adoption process includes a veterinary check, reference check, and home visit. Adopters will be required to sign a contract.

Lucky 13 Rescue Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing unwanted, stray, and lost pets in Kansas City and its surrounding areas, particularly in rural communities that have limited resources. We offer veterinary care, rehabilitation, and, most importantly, love and compassion to the animals in our care. When an animal is ready for adoption, we carefully screen potential adopters to ensure that each pet is placed in a loving forever home that meets their needs. Our mission is to serve the community as a whole.
