Adoption Process

The adoption process is straightforward and consists of a few essential steps. First, you will need to complete an adoption application, during which we will verify your references and conduct a veterinary check. Next, we will arrange a home visit. Following that, you will have the opportunity to spend a sleepover with your new furry friend. Finally, you will finalize the adoption by signing our adoption contract and paying the associated adoption fee.

C.A.P.A. Animal Rescue is a foster home-based organization located in Louisiana, Missouri. Our primary mission is to rescue animals from the local city pound, and we also extend our assistance to animals in need from surrounding areas. Established for many years, our group has successfully saved thousands of lives. The Community Animal Protection Association (CAPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned and homeless animals since 1993. We welcome and greatly appreciate donations, as our operations are entirely funded through contributions and fundraising efforts. We do not receive any funding from city, state, or government sources. All animals that enter our care receive immediate veterinary attention, which includes vaccinations, spaying or neutering, heartworm testing, microchipping, and deworming. We adhere to a strict policy of not adopting out any animal that has not been altered.
