About this shelter
Siamese Oriental Snowshoe Cat Rescue and Rehoming in New Braunfels, TX
SOS is dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned kittens and cats throughout Texas, addressing the issue of overpopulation resulting from the lack of spaying and neutering. The organization collaborates with other rescues to facilitate the placement of animals in foster care until they can be adopted. While SOS engages in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) when necessary, the organization prefers to socialize the animals before finding them suitable homes. Additionally, SOS provides "comfort kitties" for individuals in need of emotional support. Applicants who have a medical doctor's recommendation for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) are paired with a comfort kitty that meets their specific requirements. SOS takes great pride in offering this valuable service to its applicants.
