Adoption Process
Dog Adoption Policies and Procedures To adopt a dog, you must first pass a background check. All pets currently in your care must be up to date on their vaccinations. If you are renting, you need to obtain approval from your landlord. Next, complete our online dog adoption application. Please note that meet and greets are conducted by appointment only and require an approved application. Once your application is approved, we will reach out to you to arrange a meet and greet with the dog. The meet and greet and adoption process takes at least one hour. This allows you and the dog to spend time together, bond, make a thoughtful decision, and complete the necessary paperwork. It is important to understand that adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment, and the dog must be treated as a family pet. Additionally, you must be at least 20 years old to adopt. Adoption Fees For local adoptions within Texas, the fees are as follows: Adult Dogs: $250 Puppies (under 1 year): $300 For out-of-state adoptions, transportation is included in the adoption fee: Adult Dogs: $480 Puppies: $530

Texas Round Up Animal Alliance in Center Point, TX
Texas Round Up Animal Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in Center Point, Texas. Our primary mission is to rescue dogs that are at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those that have been surrendered or abandoned. We operate a small facility that can accommodate up to 20 to 25 dogs at a time. Each dog in our care receives individualized attention, veterinary care, vaccinations, and training. Our goal is to offer these neglected dogs a second chance at life by understanding their personalities, behaviors, and needs. Once the dogs are fully vetted, they become available for adoption, and we strive to find the best family match for each of them.
