Adoption Process
Adoption fees range from $75 to $200. Prospective adopters must complete and sign an application. A fenced yard is required, and any other pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. Additionally, dogs must be allowed to sleep indoors as part of the family. We also conduct home visits as part of the adoption process.

We serve the DFW Metroplex area, which includes Dallas, Fort Worth, and Arlington. Our primary focus is on Johnson, Tarrant, Dallas, Ellis, and Collin Counties.
Home At Last Animal Haven in Godley, TX
Home At Last Animal Haven is an animal rescue organization dedicated to giving neglected animals a second chance at life. This no-kill shelter was established by founders who were moved by the sight of abandoned dogs in rural areas, left waiting by the roadside for their owners. They began rescuing these animals one by one, ultimately forming the nonprofit organization that exists today. Home At Last features a rustic facility where dogs can play and relax together in spacious outdoor areas. Unlike traditional shelters with small, sterile cages, animals here enjoy a safe and nurturing environment. They experience the freedom of country living, with the companionship of other animals, while awaiting the opportunity to join a loving family in a permanent home.
