Great Pyrenees Advocates of Texas, Inc. in Houston, TX

Texas faces a significant challenge with stray dog overpopulation, leading to the euthanasia of dogs in shelters and instances of abandonment and neglect. In response to the urgent need for assistance, Great Pyrenees Advocates of Texas was founded to support the large number of at-risk Great Pyrenees and Great Pyrenees mixes in the state. Our mission focuses on providing direct rescue assistance, along with community outreach and education about this breed. We believe that these efforts will help save the lives of hundreds of Great Pyrenees throughout Texas. Many of the dogs we assist have medical and behavioral challenges, and we are dedicated to offering the care, love, and rehabilitation necessary to prepare them for permanent homes. Great Pyrenees Advocates of Texas serves as a strong advocate for this noble breed, actively working to make a positive impact on the homeless dog population in Texas through our actions and lifesaving support.
