Adoption Process

To adopt a pet from Houston Pets Alive!, please follow these steps: 1. Start by browsing our available pets online. Each pet's profile includes important information about their personality, age, and needs. 2. Once you find a pet you are interested in, complete the adoption application. This form helps us understand your lifestyle and preferences to ensure a good match. 3. After submitting your application, our team will review it and may contact you for additional information or to schedule a phone interview. 4. If your application is approved, we will arrange a time for you to meet the pet. This meeting is an opportunity to interact with the animal and see if it is a good fit for your home. 5. Following a successful meeting, you will complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. This fee helps cover the costs of care and medical treatment for the pets. 6. Finally, you will receive the pet's medical records and any additional information about their care. Thank you for considering adoption and for providing a loving home to a pet in need.
