Adoption Process

The adoption fee is $30. This fee includes at least the first set of vaccinations, rabies vaccination, and spay or neuter services.

Lubbock Animal Shelter Adoption Center in Lubbock, TX

Lubbock Animal Services is the largest animal shelter in the South Plains, dedicated to caring for over 15,000 animals rescued from the Lubbock area each year. As an open-door shelter, we offer a range of services including lost and found assistance, animal adoptions, humane education, cruelty investigations, and the enforcement of animal-related laws for the City of Lubbock. Additionally, we accept animals from outside the city limits for a fee. Our facility is located at 3323 SE Loop 289. We provide a temporary home for a variety of animals, including lovable puppies and kittens, devoted adult cats and dogs, as well as many other furry, scaly, or feathered companions.
