Adoption Process

Adoption fees for dogs and cats vary based on factors such as age, breed, and any medical or behavioral conditions. Fees start at $100.00. All potential adopters are required to complete an application. We will check veterinary and personal references, and a home visit will be conducted. Approved adopters must sign a contract and pay the adoption fee before bringing their new pet home.

M & D Rescue Duo is dedicated to advocating for animals and promoting the idea that all living beings deserve respect. We have identified a significant need in our community for assistance in rescuing, fostering, and providing medical care and affection to unwanted, homeless, and neglected animals. Our organization aims to reduce the population of homeless and unwanted animals by educating our members, adopters, and the community on responsible pet ownership, proper animal health and safety practices, and quality of life care. This education will help decrease the number of strays in animal shelters and throughout the community. We also promote and support spay/neuter initiatives to prevent unwanted pregnancies and offer community services designed to help keep companion animals with their loving families.
