Adoption Process

Potential adopters are required to complete an application that includes their veterinarian's information. We will contact the veterinarian for verification. The adoption contract specifies that if an adopter can no longer care for the pet, the animal must be returned to our shelter. All adopted animals are current on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and flea and tick treatments. No animal will leave the shelter until it has been spayed or neutered. Adoption fees range from no cost for senior pets to $100 for others.
