Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the submission of an application. This is followed by a verification of veterinary references and a meet-and-greet session. A home visit is also conducted as part of the process. The adoption fees are as follows: $300 for puppies, $250 for adults, and $100 for seniors (7 years and older) and special needs dogs.

Bluebonnet Animal Rescue is dedicated to enhancing the lives of abandoned, unwanted, or injured domestic animals, encompassing both family pets and farm animals. We accept animals of all breeds and sizes, with a particular emphasis on farm-friendly dogs, including livestock guardian breeds such as Great Pyrenees, Akbash, and Anatolian Shepherds.
