Jackson County Happy Tails is dedicated to rescuing stray and owner-relinquished pets, as well as adoptable dogs from the local pound. After evaluation to determine their adoptability, we focus on providing quality care for these animals until they find permanent homes. Additionally, we are committed to educating the community to promote responsible pet ownership.

Adoption process

The adoption process begins with the completion and review of an adoption application. Once the application is approved, the dog will be brought to the potential adopter. At this stage, the adoption fee will be collected along with the adoption contract. The dog will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated if these procedures have not already been completed.

Service area: Jackson County, which includes the communities of Ganado, Edna, and Industrial, will accommodate additional groups if space permits.
