Adoption Process

The adoption process requires a signed contract that includes a sterilization requirement. There is a $100 adoption fee and a $20 fee for rescues. A background check is also necessary. For adopters, please provide the animal's name and ID number, your full legal name, address, date of birth, and a reliable phone number where you can be reached during shelter hours. It is essential that we can contact you by phone. For rescues, please include the animal's name and ID number, your full name, contact phone number, and your 501(c)(3) determination letter from the IRS if it is not already on file.
