About this shelter

Homeward Bound Dog Rescue in Austin, TX

We are a network of private foster homes committed to rescuing dogs and finding them permanent homes. Our primary focus is on dogs from local kill shelters, as well as abandoned dogs in need of care. We conduct thorough veterinary assessments and evaluate the temperaments of our foster dogs to ensure they are placed in the most suitable forever homes. Our passion for these animals drives our work, and we aim to inspire others to engage in similar efforts. Additionally, we actively participate in local rescue advocacy groups and engage in public education initiatives to promote spaying, neutering, and responsible pet ownership.
