Adoption Process

Adoption fees vary between $125 and $250, depending on the specific dog. Before adopting, we require the completion of an application and a home visit. There is a seven-day trial adoption period prior to finalizing the adoption. The adoption process is completed with a six-page adoption contract.

San Antonio Great Dane Rescue in PIPE CREEK, TX

San Antonio's Animal Control faces significant challenges, as they euthanize over 800 animals each week. Although there are aspirations to achieve a no-kill status by 2012, this goal seems unlikely due to a reluctance to collaborate with rescue organizations. In light of this situation, our group of approximately ten foster caregivers has taken action, rescuing around 250 dogs from the local animal shelter this year. We are motivated by a deep concern for the well-being of these animals and the desire to prevent the unnecessary loss of life for these deserving dogs.
