TNR Utopia in Bayside, NY

TNR Utopia is a small, no-kill, all-volunteer non-profit organization, recognized as a 501(c)(3), dedicated to the trap, neuter, and return (TNR) of community cats in northern Queens, New York City. We also focus on educating the public about coexisting with community cats. In our work, we often come across kittens that are young enough to be socialized and placed in permanent homes. Our team consists of passionate volunteers and animal lovers who dedicate their free time to sterilizing community cats and rescuing friendly cats and kittens. Despite our size, we strive to assist all those who reach out to us for help. We are TNR certified through the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals and the NYC Feral Cat Initiative, in partnership with the ASPCA.

Adopting from TNR Utopia

Adoption process

All prospective adopters are required to complete our online adoption survey. This survey gathers information to help us ensure an ideal match between you and a new pet. After we review each survey, we will reach out to discuss the next steps, which include further conversations about the adoption process and scheduling a time for you to meet the cats or kittens. We will contact your veterinarian and personal references as part of our process. Once an adoption agreement is reached, we will deliver the cats or kittens to your home. All adopters must sign our adoption contract, and there is a $125 adoption fee for each cat or kitten.
