Adoption Process

The adoption process at our organization is designed to ensure a positive experience for both the pets and the adopters. To begin, interested individuals should fill out an adoption application, which allows us to gather information about their lifestyle and preferences. Once the application is submitted, our team will review it to determine the best match for the pet and the adopter. Following the initial review, we may conduct a phone interview to discuss the application in more detail. This conversation helps us understand the adopter's needs and expectations. If everything aligns, we will arrange a meet-and-greet with the pet. This is an important step, as it allows the adopter to interact with the pet and assess compatibility. If the meet-and-greet goes well, we will move forward with the adoption. The adopter will need to sign an adoption contract, which outlines the responsibilities of pet ownership. Additionally, there may be an adoption fee, which helps support our organization and its mission. Finally, we encourage new pet owners to stay in touch with us and provide updates on their pet's progress. Our goal is to ensure a successful and lasting adoption experience for everyone involved.
