Adoption Process

Adoption fees vary based on the age, breed, and type of animal. We have an application process for adoption, surrender, and for those interested in volunteering or fostering. Only approved applications will be eligible to schedule a visit with available pets.

Service Areas

We primarily serve the areas of Waseca, Le Center, Janesville, New Richland, and Mankato in southern Minnesota, but additional service may be available if needed.

Waseca County Animal Humane Society in Waseca, MN

We collaborate with the Pine Ridge Reservation to accept dogs of all breeds. We partner with local animal impound facilities to integrate these dogs into our network, helping them find permanent homes. Additionally, we provide guidance to pet owners, accept surrendered animals, and have experienced foster caregivers available to assist with caring for puppies and animals in need of special attention.
