Pet Project Rescue

Pet Project Rescue (PPR) is a Minnesota-based non-profit organization dedicated to addressing companion animal overpopulation and homelessness from Minnesota to Mexico. Our mission is to eliminate animal homelessness and suffering by providing free spay/neuter clinics for both owned and homeless dogs and cats in our local community and in Mexico. We believe that every animal deserves a loving and healthy life. PPR specializes in spay/neuter programming and also offers foster-based hospice care for terminally ill dogs and cats rescued from local high-kill shelters. Our commitment extends to providing free veterinary care for low-income communities and working towards making Minneapolis a no-kill city. In addition to our primary focus on spay and neuter services, we are dedicated to ensuring a comfortable and dignified life for animals that are often considered unadoptable. Since 2010, PPR has operated a hospice program that provides foster homes for terminally ill animals, allowing them to experience love and care in their final days. PPR has been a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 2008.
