Dogs and Cats Forever is an animal shelter located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, roughly 80 miles south of Fort Lauderdale, in St. Lucie County, where it is one of five animal shelters and rescues serving the area. The shelter cares for both dogs and cats, including special programs for sweet seniors, a Fospice program, FIV+ cats, and FeLV+ cats, along with bonded "Perfect Pairs" adopted together. It also offers emotional support animal placements and runs a thrift store to support its mission. The shelter is open to visitors Tuesday through Saturday, with dogs viewable from 12–4 and cats from 12–5.
