Adoption Process

To adopt a pet, please follow these steps: First, view our available pets on www.petfinder.com. Next, reach out to [email protected] or contact the foster representative listed in the pet's Petfinder biography to arrange a meeting with the pet. After that, download and complete the Adoption Application from http://www.orphananimalrescue.org/HowToAdopt.html and email it to [email protected]. Once your application is approved, you can coordinate a pickup time with the foster home or community partner to welcome your new companion into your home. Please allow 24 to 72 hours for us to process your application, as we are a volunteer-run organization. Adoption fees are as follows: - For one adult cat (6 months or older) that is spayed or neutered, the fee is $50. - Through our "Buddy System," if you adopt one adult cat, the adoption fee for a second adult cat is waived. - The fee for one spayed or neutered kitten is $75, while the fee for two spayed or neutered kittens is $125. - For one unaltered kitten, the fee is $60, and for two unaltered kittens, it is $100. - Adopters of unaltered kittens must schedule a confirmed appointment with their veterinarian for spaying or neutering upon adoption. - The adoption fee for most special needs pets is reduced to $25. - The fee is waived for approved adopters who are over the age of 60 or on a fixed income. - Fees for dogs and puppies are determined on a case-by-case basis. - For rabbits and small animals, the fee is $25, and supplies such as cages may be available for an additional small charge. Please note that the adoption fees do not fully cover our expenses, which are typically three to four times higher than the fees charged. As a volunteer-operated organization, we rely entirely on donations to care for homeless pets. Our goal is to match our animals with the best possible homes to ensure a fulfilling companionship for both the pets and their families.

Orphan Animal Rescue in Neenah, WI

Orphan Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Inc. is a non-profit organization that operates without euthanasia and is run entirely by volunteers. Our mission is to improve the lives of homeless pets and support individuals in need throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Established in September 2008 by a dedicated group of animal enthusiasts in the Fox Valley, we have developed a network of foster homes and an Adoption Center. Our organization provides shelter for abandoned, neglected, and abused animals, primarily rescuing them from other shelters and rescues. We care for these animals in our homes until they are adopted. For those requiring lifelong care, we offer a sanctuary where they can live comfortably. Our commitment is to save the lives of homeless animals, offering compassion, love, and the highest quality of care in a nurturing environment. We focus on providing additional support to pets often considered unadoptable, including the shy, sick, orphaned, injured, abused, neglected, and those deemed unwanted. All donations received are directly allocated to the needs of the animals, covering food, supplies, medications, and veterinary treatments for those in our care. We are dedicated to creating a brighter future for homeless pets in Wisconsin, striving to make a positive impact one animal and one person at a time.
