St. Francis Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Inc. in Kenosha, WI

Saint Francis SPCA is a no-kill, non-profit organization established in August 1975 and recognized as tax-exempt. Located just one mile north of the Illinois-Wisconsin border in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the shelter provides high-quality care for up to 100 homeless dogs, over 100 homeless cats, and some hooved animals. Additionally, the facility features a birdhouse with a pond that accommodates a variety of wild and domestic birds. Our mission is to protect, rehabilitate, and offer new and fulfilling lives to animals that are suffering the most. We are committed to helping those who have been harmed by society and to whom we owe our compassion and care. Saint Francis SPCA stands firm in the belief that no animal should lose its life simply due to financial constraints or the difficulty of treatment. We advocate for the idea that there are alternatives to death for the abused, sick, frightened, abandoned, malnourished, and neglected animals in our care.
