Adoption Process

All animals are provided with necessary health care, which includes spaying or neutering and microchipping. Prospective adopters must complete an application, which I then review thoroughly. I contact all references, including veterinary references, to assess the applicant's history with pets. I look for evidence of responsible pet ownership, a caring philosophy toward animals, and overall home and financial stability.

My name is Gladys, and I have been passionate about animal rescue since 2018. Since then, we have successfully rescued and placed over 200 cats and kittens in new homes, alongside numerous community cats that have benefited from our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts. I collaborate with three dedicated foster caregivers to provide care for these animals. In addition to our local efforts, I also raise funds to support the feeding of 200 street cats and dogs in Venezuela, where we provide essential medical care for those suffering from illnesses and injuries. Our primary focus is on spaying and neutering to reduce the number of unwanted births and prevent needless suffering. To date, I have spayed more than 700 cats and dogs in Venezuela, contributing to the welfare of the animal population.
