Baltimore Humane Society is a humane society located in Baltimore, Maryland, approximately 15 miles southeast of Baltimore, MD. It was founded to protect the region's pets and address their suffering, and it operates under the motto "From the First Hello to the Last Goodbye." The shelter finds loving homes for dogs, cats, and small animals, and also runs a low-cost spay/neuter and wellness veterinary clinic, a pet food bank, foster and volunteer programs, and cemetery and bereavement services for pet loss. It is open Monday from 12:00–4:00 PM and Tuesday through Sunday from 12:00–5:00 PM.

Submit an application online or in person, then meet the shelter pet in person with all household members and speak with an adoption counselor; applicants must be 18+, pass a background check, and have current dogs up to date on rabies vaccination, and the primary caretaker must be present to complete the adoption.
