Petey and Furends in Rockville, MD
Petey and Furends is a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 84-4819015) that operates as a no-kill animal rescue. Our mission is to reduce neglect, abuse, and homelessness among companion animals. We employ research- and evidence-based practices to enhance the adoption process and improve the likelihood of successful matches between animals and their new families. All individuals involved with Petey and Furends are volunteers who generously contribute their time and compassion to care for the animals.

Adoption process
The adoption process includes submitting an application, engaging in a conversation with an experienced volunteer, and completing a landlord and/or veterinary check if applicable. There is an adoption fee that ranges from $300 to $400.
