Adoption Process

We assist pet owners in connecting with foster caregivers and potential adopters. Our services include facilitating communication between these parties and providing necessary contracts and forms, such as owner-to-foster and owner-to-adopter agreements, to support owners in these processes.

We are headquartered in Prince George's County, Maryland, where we collaborate closely with the county animal shelter to facilitate the adoption of animals. Additionally, we offer our rehoming and other services throughout the Metro DC area and beyond.

LOVEPAWS in Rockville, MD

We share a mission with Baltimore-based RescueWell in our efforts to keep pets in their homes, with a specific focus on low-income communities in Prince George's County. Instead of removing animals from shelters, we collaborate with pet owners to provide support that helps them retain their pets. This includes operating a county-wide pet food bank and facilitating re-homing when necessary. Additionally, we promote animals available for adoption at the Prince George's County Animal Shelter through organized photo shoots and adoption events.
