Since its establishment in 2003, HART has saved the lives of thousands of adoptable animals in Western Maryland by addressing pet overpopulation through affordable spay and neuter programs. The organization has created the HART Adoption Wing, providing a safe environment for animals awaiting their forever homes, and facilitates the rescue and transport of adoptable animals to reputable adoption organizations. To support its mission, the HART Animal Center offers a range of pet care services, including the full-service Bredel Veterinary Clinic for pet health and wellness, the Bed ‘n Bark Inn pet hotel, MUTTWorks Grooming Salon, and the HART Shoppe. The HART Adoption Wing is situated within the HART Animal Center.
