The adoption process includes submitting an application, participating in an interview, and undergoing a home check. There is a fee of $425.00 for puppies and $350.00 for adult dogs.

I established Mutts and Runts Rescue upon relocating to Bakersfield, California, after noticing the significant overpopulation of stray dogs in the area. My goal was to help these animals in need, initially focusing on saving one dog at a time. However, it quickly became apparent that I could assist multiple dogs simultaneously. I believe that dogs are family members, sentient beings, and gifts from a higher power, often providing emotional support and companionship to people.
