Adoption Process

The adoption process involves several steps. First, you need to complete an application. If your application is approved, a home check will be conducted. Once your home is approved, you will need to sign a contract and make a donation of $150.

We are a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We charge admission for visitors to enjoy time with the cats and offer snacks during their visit. If a visitor wishes to adopt a cat, there is no adoption fee, or the fee will be refunded. We collaborate with rescue organizations to bring cats from high-kill shelters to our café, and we also accept street cats that have been vetted by trusted community trappers. Our mission is to find permanent homes for the cats and to promote responsible cat ownership through education.
