Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, first, browse our available cats on our website or on adoptapet.com. Take the time to read their biographies, view their photos, and watch any available videos. Next, complete an adoption application and send it to [email protected]. After submitting your application, arrange a meeting with the cat you are interested in adopting. Following the meeting, you will need to schedule a home visit or home check. If your application is approved, you will then fill out an adoption contract or agreement. Once the contract is completed, submit your adoption donation using PayPal, Venmo, or a check. Finally, you can welcome your new family member into your home.

We are a nonprofit organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) that is dedicated to rescuing black cats and kittens from euthanasia. Our mission involves removing these animals from shelters, providing foster care, and helping them find permanent adoptive homes. In addition to our rescue efforts, we offer holistic services that complement traditional veterinary care for the cats we rescue, as well as for those in the care of other local rescue organizations.
