Adopting from Baby Kitten Rescue

Adoption process

To begin the adoption process, interested individuals must complete an online adoption application, which serves as an initial screening. Following this, potential adopters will have a meet and greet with the kitten, allowing the foster caregiver to assess the applicant's suitability and observe their interaction with the animal. After this meeting, the foster will inform the adoption coordinator whether to approve or deny the application. Kittens are eligible to join their forever homes five days after their spay or neuter surgeries. Adopters are required to sign an adoption contract, committing to provide appropriate care, refrain from declawing, keep the animals indoors, register the animal's microchip, and return the animal to Baby Kitten Rescue if they are unable to continue caring for it. The adoption fees are set at $100 for one kitten, $150 for a pair of kittens, and $75 for adult cats. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas prior to adoption.

Service area
We primarily serve Los Angeles County and Orange County, but we accept kittens from across California.
