About this shelter
California Chins in Sunnyvale, CA
California Chins - Chinchilla Rescue, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is a small, no-kill rescue group established and operated by California Chins, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1998. Our mission is to provide information for individuals interested in chinchillas and facilitate the adoption process. Additionally, we offer a safe haven for chinchillas in need of new homes, as many are lost, abandoned, or surrendered by owners who can no longer care for them. We focus on meeting their physical and emotional needs to help them find loving, permanent homes.
