Adoption Process

The adoption process involves signing a contract and a fee of $80 per cat. This fee covers the costs associated with spaying or neutering the cat, a veterinary check-up, vaccinations, microchipping, and testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Additionally, adopters will receive a complimentary first veterinary visit.

Feline Network of the Central Coast in San Luis Obispo, CA

Feline Network is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for cats and kittens in San Luis Obispo County. We do not operate a shelter and rely entirely on volunteers, with no paid staff. Our funding comes solely from donations, which support our mission of spaying and neutering, caring for, rescuing, and facilitating the adoption of felines. We also run a feral cat program that promotes Trap Neuter Return as a free service to our community. This initiative helps control the cat population and allows feral cats to live in healthy, managed colonies. Additionally, we provide food for these feral cats. We rescue cats and kittens and place them in foster homes where we address their physical and medical needs. Caring for kittens requires significant time, effort, and resources, and we continually seek assistance to cover expenses for food, medical supplies, and neutering.
