Feline Network of the Central Coast is a cat rescue based in San Luis Obispo, California, located in San Luis Obispo County, roughly 100 miles north of Fresno. It is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) non-profit humane organization with no paid staff and no formal shelter facility, relying instead on a foster home network that cares for around 50 kittens and cats at any given time. The organization rescues cats and kittens who are lost or abandoned, provides medical care through veterinarians who donate discounted services, and works to place them in adoptive homes. It also runs a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program for feral cat colonies and offers trapping assistance and advice to the community. Six other animal shelters or rescues also serve San Luis Obispo County alongside Feline Network.
