Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several key steps. First, potential adopters participate in a meet and greet to interact with the animal. Next, they complete an application to express their interest. Following the application, a home check is conducted to ensure a suitable environment for the pet. Once approved, a contract is signed to formalize the adoption. A donation is typically required to support the organization’s efforts. Finally, there is a trial period during which the adopter can assess the compatibility with the pet.

Hooks Home Bound Rescue in yucca valley, CA

Hooks is dedicated to supporting tow truck drivers who respond to calls for help every day. These professionals often face dangers on the road, with some not returning home, while others may suffer injuries or even fatalities due to drivers ignoring the National Move Over Slow Down laws. They work tirelessly around the clock for the benefit of everyone. They are the unsung heroes of the road. Home Bound represents our collective aspiration for peace, comfort, and security, eliminating the need for rescue. Rescue is an organization committed to saving the lives of both humans and animals. We recognize the essential role humans play as heroes in our society and also focus on rescuing animals in need, whether from high-kill shelters, deserts, or abandoned on the roadside. We invite you to meet our dedicated staff, ask questions, and engage with us through our social media pages. Our mission is to save pets from high-kill shelters while reducing owner surrenders and abandonment. We actively search rural and isolated areas to reunite pets with loving forever homes. Additionally, we advocate against animal neglect and abuse and strive to educate pet owners about sterilization, microchipping, and vaccination. We connect pet owners with low-cost or no-cost programs to assist in keeping their pets. Soon, we will launch a pet food bank to support local families in need, helping them keep their beloved pets. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations to fulfill our mission. We hope for a future where our services are no longer necessary. With the ongoing pet overpopulation crisis resulting in the euthanasia of tens of thousands of animals each year, we aim to educate the public about the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating, and microchipping pets. Our pet food bank and low-cost spay/neuter clinics are part of our commitment to keeping pets with their families. We rescue animals in need, ensuring they receive medical attention and training to become adoptable companions. We also promote the Move Over Slow Down laws within the towing industry. Tow truck drivers require your support as they assist others in need, available 24 hours a day, just as we are here for animals. As we work toward obtaining our 501(c)(3) status, we emphasize that our efforts depend on public support. The more pets we rescue, the greater the needs we must address. We appreciate your continued support as we work to assist those in need.
