Adoption Process

The adoption process begins when the prospective adopter completes an adoption application. A volunteer will then reach out to the adopter to ask any necessary questions. Next, the adopter has the opportunity to meet the cat or kitten. During this meet-and-greet, the volunteer will ask additional questions. If the adopter decides to proceed, they will fill out a contract and pay the adoption fee, which is $150 for one cat or kitten and $250 for two. Finally, a volunteer will deliver the cat or kitten to the adopter's home.

Gatos de la Noche is a small rescue organization dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of feral cat colonies. Our mission involves actively participating in Trap Neuter and Return (TNR) programs for feral cats, providing medical care for injured or ill cats, establishing feeding stations for volunteers who can feed these colonies daily, trapping kittens to find foster homes for their socialization, and training others to engage in similar efforts. We aim to support and care for the cats that are often overlooked by society.
