Adoption Process

The adoption fees are $100 for kittens and $85 for cats. An adoption contract is required to be signed. If any issues arise, the cat or kitten must be returned to ACT and should not be surrendered to a shelter. Additionally, please do not declaw any adopted cat or kitten.

Service Areas

We serve the Central Valley, including Stockton and the surrounding areas. However, we do not have any geographical restrictions on our services.

The Abandoned Cat Team (ACT) Spay/Neuter Clinic is dedicated to preventing the overpopulation of unwanted dogs and cats through spaying and neutering. Established initially as a rescue organization, ACT recognized the need to address the issue of pet overpopulation and opened a spay/neuter clinic in 2009. In addition to this, we have maintained our adoption program and continue to support the community by providing low-cost spaying and neutering services, as well as helping to find permanent homes for cats and kittens.
