Adoption Process

We operate a nursery for underage and neonatal kittens with the mission of rescuing as many vulnerable kittens as possible from the Long Beach shelter. Kittens in our program may be transferred to other rescues, transported to different states (including those affiliated with the ASPCA), or adopted directly through our centers. Our adoption fee is $100, and the process includes submitting an application, signing an agreement, and completing a home check.

Long Beach Little Paws Project in Long Beach, CA

The Long Beach Little Paws Project is a partnership among The Little Lion Foundation, Catpaws, and Long Beach Animal Care Services. Its mission is to achieve a no-kill status for Long Beach by 2019, specifically focusing on rescuing underage kittens that are often euthanized due to insufficient resources.
