Adoption Process

The dogs are currently located in Santa Rosa, California. If you have any questions about a specific dog, please reach out to us via email or call 707-703-4129. If you are interested in meeting dogs for potential adoption, please complete the online application. Our adoption counselor will get in touch with you within 24 to 48 hours. At this time, visits to see the dogs are available by appointment only. We look forward to welcoming you to Muttopia and introducing you to our rescue dogs. Adoption fees are $200 for adult dogs and $300 for puppies.

Compassion Without Borders in Santa Rosa, CA

Compassion without Borders is dedicated to improving the lives of animals in need on both sides of the border. We concentrate our efforts in areas with the greatest need, particularly where animals are least likely to receive assistance due to financial, geographic, and cultural barriers. Our initiatives include a dog rescue program that operates in Mexico and the Central Valley, as well as free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border. Additionally, we offer a humane euthanasia program in Mexico, where we are actively working to eliminate the use of electrocution, a prevalent method of euthanasia for unwanted animals in that region.
