CCHR is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned, abused, neglected, and slaughter-bound horses, giving them a second chance at healthy and productive lives. The organization takes in horses from a variety of challenging circumstances, including abandonment, neglect, and the threat of slaughter, as well as those whose owners can no longer provide adequate care. CCHR offers shelter, food, veterinary care, farrier services, rehabilitation, and adoption services for the horses it rescues. Additionally, the organization provides long-term sanctuary for disabled and elderly horses. Through specialized care and compassionate support, CCHR ensures that all rescued horses have the opportunity to heal, thrive, and enjoy happy and peaceful lives.
