SNAP Cats is committed to the rescue and care of special needs cats. Many animal shelters, cat rescues, and sanctuaries are overwhelmed, leading to tragic outcomes for countless innocent cats. Often, the first to be at risk are those with special needs, the elderly, feral cats, or those considered "unadoptable." This situation is unacceptable. As the only rescue and sanctuary in Sonoma County focused specifically on special needs cats, SNAP Cats prioritizes rescuing these animals, providing them with appropriate housing, and helping them find loving homes. We believe that with a little extra time, older or special needs cats can discover the loving homes they deserve. Consequently, all cats at SNAP Cats, regardless of their health, age, or temperament, are available for adoption or foster care. For those who are not adopted due to age, illness, or temperament, we ensure they can live out their lives in a peaceful, healthy, and nurturing environment, free from judgment or harm.
